Tides Supports a National Dialogue on Tolerance

Happy New Year! As with the beginning of any new year we recognize change, resolutions and commitments. However, with the entrance of 2011, the type of change and commitments we make need to look very different. We need to be much more intentional and strategic in our work as the reliance on the social sector increases dramatically.

As the new CEO of Tides I am pleased to have completed our internal road map for the next 12-24 months. Our focus will be on building community, articulating...

Dear Fox Advertiser

Dear Fox Advertiser,

I am writing to ask your company to take a simple step that may well save lives in the future. And it is not unimportant that taking this action will remove your company and its products from any connection to what could very likely be an unpleasant tragedy, should things remain as they are today. On behalf of my organization, and many others like it, I ask that you cease advertising on the Fox News Channel.

Why is Tides a Target of the Right?

Tides rejects intolerance and calls for a resurgence of civility for all citizens, government and the media

This call for civil discourse has been joined by Independent Sector, discussed...

The Danger of Intolerance

Tides CEO Statement on 580 Incident

Statement from Tides CEO Drummond Pike

To the best of our knowledge, this person has never had contact with any Tides organization or program. As there is an ongoing investigation into this incident, we will not speculate as to what his motivations may have been.

We are relieved that no one other than the assailant was hurt...
